Will Bush Skip Olympics?
15 US house members are urging President Bush to boycott the August 8th Beijing Olympics opening ceremony.
French President Nicolas Sarkozy has said he may skip the opening ceremony. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she will skip the Olympic Games. Britain’s Prince Charles said in January he has “no plans to attend the ceremony.
The entire world should just boycott the whole Chinese Olympics, not just the opening ceremony.

Any public figure with a conscience should boycott. Anything that can raise awareness of the human rights violations that continue to happen in not only Tibet, but all of China, is a good thing.
I’m not so sure about the whole world boycotting the entire Olympic games though. It’s a great opportunity for foreign media to get inside China when previously there was no way they could.
