A clip of Bush’s Security Adviser Stephen Hadley confusing Nepal for Tibet during an interview with George Stephanopoulos on ABC. Looks like George Stephanopoulos did not know the difference either!
According to New York Times:
In his ABC interview, Mr. Hadley referred at least a half-dozen times to Nepal when he seemed clearly to be speaking of Tibet. A White House spokesman later confirmed that Mr. Hadley had misspoken.
Andrew Baron of Rocketboom, who follows 1,400 and has a following of over 1500 twitter users, is selling his twitter account on ebay. So far he as 34 bids and the price of this twitter account has climbed to $1,125. Amazing!
It would be silly to just delete this account I have here, especially if there is someone out there that had like interests and had something to say or wanted to get involved in some relevant conversations. In terms of monetary value, I have no expectations or needs at all so I decided not to put a minimum bid on this. Whatever will be, will be.

Check out the four Anthems, as part of the films to be shown on Pangea Day, May 10, 2008.
Pangea Day is a global event bringing the world together through film.
Why? In a world where people are often divided by borders, difference, and conflict, it’s easy to lose sight of what we all have in common. Pangea Day seeks to overcome that – to help people see themselves in others – through the power of film.
SAJA forum rounds up the reviews for “Unaccustomed Earth“, Jhumpa Lahiri’s latest collection of stories
“Lahiri’s enormous gifts as a storyteller are on full display in this collection: the gorgeous, effortless prose; the characters haunted by regret, isolation, loss, and tragedies big and small; and most of all, a quiet, emerging sense of humanity.”

Jonathan Harris’ latest visualization, a storytelling experiment, based on 3,214 photographs he took during his 9 days living with Inupiat Eskimos in Barrow, Alaska, back in May 2007.
I documented the entire experience with a plodding sequence of 3,214 photographs, beginning with the taxi ride to Newark airport, and ending with the butchering of the second whale, seven days later. The photographs were taken at five-minute intervals, even while sleeping (using a chronometer), establishing a constant “photographic heartbeat”. In moments of high adrenaline, this photographic heartbeat would quicken (to a maximum rate of 37 pictures in five minutes while the first whale was being cut up), mimicking the changing pace of my own heartbeat.

15 US house members are urging President Bush to boycott the August 8th Beijing Olympics opening ceremony.
French President Nicolas Sarkozy has said he may skip the opening ceremony. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she will skip the Olympic Games. Britain’s Prince Charles said in January he has “no plans to attend the ceremony.
The entire world should just boycott the whole Chinese Olympics, not just the opening ceremony.
