New York Times to Be Free

Effective midnight Tuesday night, New York Times will no longer charge for accessing archives, and works by columnists. All archives from 1851 to 1922 and 1987 to present will be free. However, certain archives from 1922 to 1987 will still be charged (not sure why).

Jottit: Quickest way to making a website

It does not get simpler than this for creating a website; put in some text in the textbox, click “Create a page” and you are done. If you want to name your site, go to settings, and set a site address. If you are the possessive kind, claim the site, and you get more control of keeping the site private, public or open. Kind of like a wiki, but way simpler. If this takes off, look for some very fresh and new collaborative websites.
