Sharper Google Earth Soon

A new high resolution satellite to be launched on Tuesday, will make Google Earth even sharper. WorldView I, the new satellite, will collect over 600, 000 sq km worth of data each day, compared to a current rate of one week. DigitalGlobe, the company behind this, has the largest commercial archive of satellite images, over 300 million sq km.
