Oil up 8%, could hit $150 a barrel

Oil prices shoot up to $138 a barrel, a gain of $11 in a single day, making it the biggest gains ever. This speculative rise is supposedly due to a 1% drop in value of the dollar, Israel’s transportation minister, Shaul Mofaz, stating an attack on Iran’s nuclear sites looked “unavoidable.”, and Wall Street forecasting that oil will hit $150 a barrel next month due to rising demand in Asia.

Looks more like speculators looking for any reason to keep bumping up the price of oil. I wonder at what price world economies will start crumbling!?

Obama-Clinton Ticket Not A Good Idea

Jimmy Carter on the Obama-Clinton ticket, “the worst mistake that could be made”!

“If you take that 50 percent who just don’t want to vote for Clinton and add it to whatever element there might be who don’t think Obama is white enough or old enough or experienced enough or because he’s got a middle name that sounds Arab, you could have the worst of both worlds,”

If Clinton is more of the old, then she is not the change that Obama is looking for, so my guess is—he is not likely to choose Clinton as his running mate.

Viygo

An embeddable timeline, which can extract information from twitter, facebook, upcoming, etc. and display on a timeline, which can then be embedded on any other web site.

Viygo is the intersection of space and time–a map of events creating a timeline for the world–from personal to public. The world is changing. The way in which we record our lives and world events is changing. From blogs to social networking to video, the world is telling its story each day, every hour, on the web. But these events exist outside of a framework of time–Vigyo is that intersection.

Here is the twitter public timeline for example:
