IE blog is claiming that now IE8 successfully renders Acid2 Face in standards mode. Even though IE team thinks this should excite web developers, in reality IE8 is not the issue but rather the usage of older IE versions is. So, unless they can get everyone to upgrade to IE8, developers are still going to have to deal with lame older IE versions.
